Our story
An old TIPO press and a printing house with two or three workers: that is how Dukagjini began in Peja in 1987, the first private printing house in Kosovo at the time. Today it is fourteen companies in thirteen fields, from media and books to hotels, finance, education and the homes it builds.

The printing house
Ekrem Lluka founds Dukagjini in Peja, the first private printing house in Kosovo at the time.

Kiosks across Kosovo
A network of Dukagjini kiosks brings work and services through hard years.
- 1994
Books
The publishing house and the first bookshops. It remains one of the largest publishers in Kosovo.
- 1999
Radio Dukagjini
The largest radio broadcaster in Kosovo, on a national frequency. TV Dukagjini follows in 2001.
- 2003
Dukagjini Construction
Its first homes: the Sahatkulla complex in Peja, 64 apartments, finished in 2005.
- 2006
Investment and insurance
Dukagjini Invest, licensed by the World Trade Centers Association in New York, and Dukagjini Insurance.
- 2009
Hotel Dukagjini
The Group privatises Hotel Dukagjini in Peja, one of the landmark hotels of the Dukagjini plain, and renews it.
- 2016
Dukagjini Residence and Center
In Prishtina: 240 apartments, and the tallest building in Kosovo built only for business, 22 floors.
- 2022
Dukagjini Resort
On Albania’s coast at Shëngjin, by the beach of Rana e Hedhun.

The foundation stone
Building of Veranda Residences begins on 14 May.

Cannes
Dukagjini Resort is presented at MIPIM, the property fair in Cannes.
